A lot of you are wondering, what is this Parenting Community? Why should I join? Is this some spam scam? So, I wrote this FAQ section instead of sleeping just for you. And if you still have questions, email me by clicking the feedback button on the bottom.

What is the purpose of this Parenting Community?

I built this free online community because I wanted to help support Hawai'i's parents, grandparents, and caregivers of children support each other. Since it "takes a village to raise a child", I created this online village to help you raise your child with like minded parents in Hawai'i. Here, you are given the tools to find like-minded parents to ask questions, get referrals, plan playdates, share your challenges, and talk stink about your other half who only changes the non-doo-doo diapers, oh wait, that's me . . .

How much does it cost to join?

Zip. Zilch. Zero. Nada. Nothing. It is absolutely postitively FREE! Okay, having said that, it's not really free. It takes a couple of minutes of your time to join and - only if you want - to fill out some fun questions. These fun questions were created to help others learn about you and for you to learn about others. The more you share, the more you gain! Okay, that doesn't rhyme, but oh well.

What is the privacy policy?

I will not give rent or sell the database to any company, except for over a million bucks. Just joking. Well, maybe I would, but probably not because a million bucks isn't worth as much as it used to. ANYWAY, I will not send you e-mail ads. In the normal course of email distributions, we may provide/sell space to entities that want to reach you, but you can always change your email preferences.

How often will I receive e-mail from this service?

Our TARGET mailing will be once a month, typically to announce upcoming children's family events, if I ever get to it. In some months you may not receive any emails, unless I get some volunteers to help with the site. You interested? Email me at the bottom by clicking feedback! I'm not joking!

Is this some kind of spam trick to get my email only so you can spam me?

The only spam I like is the kind ontop of musubi. I especially like the kind with daikon and egg and that seaweed stuff too with the big nori wrap, not the 1/8th inch nori wrap kind that some companies do to save money. ANYWAY, I hate email spam and wouldn't give your email to any spammers.
